Trail Overview
This trail is a Huntersville sampler. There are super dense forest sections where you have to slow down to thread trees, sections of many whoops, somewhat washed-out trails that are sandy, and some trail sections hit by the forestry service with roots, sticks, and stumps. Compared to nearby singletrack Paul Bunyan and Spider Lake Trails, this trail system is generally narrower but has fewer obstacles, fewer inclines and declines, fewer rocks, and less water. There are, however, pretty consistent whoops. They aren't uncomfortable, but they do typically need to be hit fast or the rider needs to stand or sit through the up-and-down roller coaster. The river and woods are very pretty with a nice variety of trees that make for awesome fall colors.
