Trail Overview

This long, arrow-straight trail is a well-maintained gravel route that is generally two vehicles wide. It passes through a mix of forest and open clearings, with sections that contain potholes and occasional puddles. A rustic campsite is located along the route, offering basic facilities such as tables, a fire ring, a supply of firewood, and a toilet. The trail is scenic and has several side trails branching from the main route, including one that leads into a Wildlife Management Area. In some stretches, the surface becomes sandy and can be slippery, particularly on corners, so caution is advised. Local traffic may also be encountered. While the rustic campsite provides limited facilities, the trail as a whole offers no formal campsites and lacks amenities such as trash disposal or a water supply. Cell service may be limited in the area, so travelers should be prepared before setting out on this route.
