Trail Overview

This trail is composed mainly of sand, with some sections of gravel, and in specific stretches, the sand becomes quite thick, making driving more challenging. The route is narrow and winds through forested terrain, with much of it suitable for single-vehicle passage. Overgrown vegetation often brushes against the sides of vehicles, making pinstriping a possibility. The surface varies from firm to muddy, and after rainfall, the trail can become especially wet and difficult to navigate. There are a few gentle ascents and descents along the way, but the overall terrain remains manageable for most off-road vehicles. The trail is popular with ATVs and side-by-sides, and several small clearings are scattered along the route. Some side trails branch off from the main path, but one of the larger spurs has been intentionally closed. There are no formal campsites along this trail, and amenities such as trash disposal and potable water are not provided. Cell service may be limited or unavailable, so travelers should not depend on it. This trail offers a straightforward forest drive that can become more challenging in wet conditions, making it best suited for those prepared for sand, mud, and narrow, overgrown sections.

Difficulty

The trail is maintained but can develop light overgrowth between trims, especially in the summer months. Commonly used by local OHV traffic, the path remains visible and passable, though branches and low brush may occasionally encroach.
