Trail Overview
Trail 140, also known as Mink Lake Road, is a narrow but well-maintained gravel route that winds through a mix of forest and open power line clearings. The trail provides a scenic drive with a combination of wooded corridors and broader views under the power lines. Several smaller trails branch off from the main route, though they are generally unmarked and appear lightly used. One of the highlights along the trail is a picturesque river crossing, where a small pull-off near the bridge allows parking for up to two vehicles. This spot offers a quiet place to stop and take in the surroundings. While the route is peaceful and relatively easy to navigate, it does not feature any formal or dispersed campsites. There are no services available along the trail--no trash bins, potable water, or other amenities--and cell phone reception may be limited or unavailable in sections.
