Trail Overview
Beautiful, sandy, winding trail through the woods. This trail is open to mixed traffic. The trail begins in the snowmobile staging area off of Old 131/BUS 131. There is a large parking lot and a vault toilet. The trail meanders through the woods before coming out alongside US Route 131. The two-lane dirt trail passes over the highway on Number 10 Road, which is paved, before continuing back onto dirt. The trail weaves through the woods and becomes 8 3/4 Road before heading back into the woods. The trail uses Number 47 Road for a section, before turning back into the woods from East 10 Road. There are directional arrows that help with the turns. From this point, the trail weaves through the woods with some potential mud puddles. Along this trail, there are 4 bridges over creeks that are wide enough for a full-sized vehicle. This section of the trail ends at North Lucas Road, unless one runs the trail the other direction. There are many places to pass or pull over and rest. The trail is relatively smooth and has banked sides. Accessed the trail on 7/27/2025.
