Trail Overview
This trail starts with a steep incline with a rock ledge at the top that will be difficult to run when wet. Once past the first initial ledge, the trail is fairly easy until it intersects with trail 12. Before the intersection with trail 12, 15 runs along a ridgeline and then the mountainside, offering epic views in all directions. There is a long ledge section, but they are low ledges and fun to run. After the intersection with trail 12, the trail is still fairly mild until it reaches the waterfall near Black Bear Campground. The trail crosses the waterfall and immediately has large rocks with a great deal of rutting/undercut because it is wet. The trail continues up a steep incline and switchback then splits into two different exits. One exit is a steep ledge and the other is an incline with large rocks. You may require a winch at the waterfall and then again at the exit.

Difficulty
The trail is fairly easy except for a rock ledge at the top of the initial hill climb to enter the trail and the portion of the trail that is west of where trail 15 intersects with trail 12. Essentially, the section after trail 12 is rated a 7.
