Trail Overview

This is a blue trail that leads to the Blue Diamond Overlook. This point has views looking over to the old Blue Diamond Mine that this park is built around. Trail 103 A is definitely a great place for photos and a great spot to take a lunch break. Access to this trail is via Highway 221 and can be run by any 4x4, however, several black diamond trails in the park will take you to 103A, such as 103B or 103B Copperhead Loop.

Difficulty

Track access via Highway 221 is possible from outside the park but you can get there from within the park via 2 different tracks. Both of these are Black Diamond. The track itself is rated blue and almost any 4x4, sXs, ATV, or motorcycle can run this trail.

Access Description

From outside the park travel west on Highway 699 for about 830' and turn left on Highway 221. Travel 221 for 2 miles and 103A will be on your left. For a tougher entrance into 103A, you can travel from within the park via 103B.
