Trail Overview
The Rolling Hills Trail traverses through the pine forest to the south side of the park. This trail can be accessed by the Old Boundary Trail on the north side and the South Boundary Trail on the south side. Approached from the north, the terrain begins as mostly smooth rolling hills with mud holes periodically, depending on the season. This pattern continues throughout the trail to the south side, although some hills are steeper with protruding and loose rocks. The Rolling Hills Trail is periodically resurfaced with a dozer to prevent hazards to riders. When a dry season is present, this trail can be explored with ease on a two-wheel drive OHV, although wet conditions can require the use of four-wheel drive to complete. This route is accessible by SxS, ATV, and dirt bikes, and falls into the blue difficulty rating.
