Trail Overview
Enjoy a slow, crawling, winding route along the west canyon rim overlooking the desert floor. Plateaus and hills decorate the desolate landscape below and all around. While not a technical trail, it is very rough with protruding and loose rocks, deep ruts, and a narrow slot to pass through. Lots of views await, including a cattle watering pond towards the end of the trail, endless rock formations in a shallow valley, and even a shallow collapsed cavern if you know where to look!

Difficulty
Easy to travel and navigate in a high clearance vehicle, mostly dirt and loose large rocks when dry. Will be extremely muddy early spring or after rain. It is not advised to travel when muddy. Full sized vehicles are not advised to travel as there is a very tight rock formation that the trail passes through. Expect a rough ride from exposed and loose rocks, and deep ruts in certain locations.
