Trail Overview

South Lateral #3506 is a moderately easy ATV trail that begins on the south end after a rocky access road and runs through a mix of open hillsides and scenic aspen forest. The trail is dry and dusty, with some sections of loose rock that add some challenge, but the terrain remains easy overall. There's a semi-steep climb on the south end, while the rest of the trail remains pretty gradual and mellow. A couple of downed logs were present on the trail and could present a challenge for ATVs if not cleared. When traveling north, the trail turns left at the intersection with South Thompson Road #30683 and continues through another scenic forest section with small roots and tighter curves. As this trail is near the Summit View Campground, it's likely a more commonly ridden route. You can combine it with #5260 and #5211 for additional easy mileage close to camp.
