Trail Overview

Cold Spring Summit View #5211 is an easy 1.4-mile ATV trail that begins at the Summit View Campground and heads north through a mix of forest and open meadows. The route is wide and easy to follow, with shallow ruts and big waterbars scattered throughout. It winds gradually through groves of aspen trees with gradual curves and occasional patches of small loose rock, but nothing that poses a major challenge. Fallen logs may occasionally appear along the way, though the trail is generally well maintained and well marked. The overall terrain is mostly flat or very gently sloped. This trail is great for a short loop from the campground and can be combined with nearby trail #5260, which is of similar easy difficulty, to extend the ride while staying close to the campground.
