Hidden Lemhi Pass

Trail Overview

This steep, narrow, and rocky pass takes you over the Lemhi mountains. Expect dramatic shelf roads with sharp, loose rocks and regular rock slides and avalanches. The effort is worth it since you're rewarded with incredible views as you climb the valley and cross towards the Lost River Range, and there are plenty of side roads to explore at the top.

Difficulty

There aren't any major obstacles on this trail, but expect very narrow ledge roads with loose rocks that can be dangerous. This is doable in a full-size vehicle, and has been done in a Toyota Tundra and Sequoia, but it's easier in smaller vehicles.
