Trail Overview
Ridge Top is a short but technical half-mile segment running directionally south to north between Trails D and B. Considered one of the more challenging trails in the system, it features several embedded rock obstacles--ramped, foot-and-a-half-high boulders--that require riding up their faces. While not blunt, these features can be difficult for less experienced riders struggling to get traction in the ruts and leaves. A bypass is available around the most difficult obstacle. The trail is narrower than most and more deeply troughed along its center, adding to its technical character.
