Trail Overview
Trail 181-N is a scenic and beginner-friendly lollipop loop winding through a lush, green forest. The trail is smooth and well-maintained, but also dug out from the forest floor, resulting in foot-tall dirt walls on either side of the trail. It has fun dips and rollers from waterbars, and clear signage throughout. Occasional mud puddles, a shallow stream crossing in the spring, and possible downed trees or shallow ruts add some variety. Reinforced sections with fences and poured rock help prevent erosion and keep the trail rideable. It's an easy loop in either direction, perfect for a relaxed, flowy ride. It begins and ends in the same spot, in the large open space at the end of 181-J and 181-O. It goes north, then splits off for a loop. There are whoops, switchbacks, and short but fairly steep hills to enjoy. This one is easily blown off since it's an out-and-back loop. Give it a shot!
