Trail Overview

Walrod Gulch is a short, single-track trail that connects the Double Top Spur south to Walrod Road, and further south to Cement Creek Road via the very short Warm Springs Trail. Cement Creek Road is a good place to stage for many of the trails in this area because there is a staging area at the beginning of the Deadman Single Track, and there are several camp spots for small rigs on National Forest land further up Cement Creek Road. You can complete this trail really fast to either start or end your ride from Cement Creek Road. The north end is really easy, with a few flowy and smooth sections as it follows a creek. The south end is more difficult, with a few nasty switchbacks that are full of rocks. The switchbacks are steep, with lots of loose rock and embedded boulders.
