Turret Road

Trail Overview

Country Road 184 leads to the Ghost town of Turret. In recent years, some newer residences have been built. The first part of the trail is wide and easy. After the town of Turret, you go through a gate, and the path becomes single track. There are some tight turns and close brush along the trail. The soil is sandy, and it's mostly a smooth drive. The trail dead ends at the Browns Canyon Wilderness Area. It is recommended to turn around where this track ends before going all the way down to the National Forest border.

Difficulty

The hardest section is single track with soft sand in some places, a few rocks, and tight spaces.
