Thorpe Road

Trail Overview

Thorpe Road is an easy route providing access to many large campsites, some with great views, and all have established metal fire pits. Be sure to check for fire restrictions ahead of time. This hard-packed dirt road is primarily easy driving, though you will encounter a few washouts and ruts; most are easily passable or straddled. The road dead ends at a trailhead accessible only by ATVs, bikes, horses, and hikers. Cell service is available on most of the trail.
