Trail Overview

This is a dirt bike-only motocross track on the west side of the Hartman Rocks Recreation Area. It is in a fenced-in area behind a metal pinch point and has several informational signs at the entrance. One of the signs has an arrow you can use to indicate which direction you'll be going around the track so that anyone who joins the track can safely go in the same direction and there won't be any oncoming traffic. It's hardpacked dirt and has lots of tracks small ruts and a couple of muddy spots. One lap around the course is about 1 mile. There are decent-sized jumps and banked corners. The track is easy if you don't hit all the jumps. If you hit all the jumps, it's a little bit difficult because they have a lip on them and there aren't flat tables on the other side, so you either have to commit to the jump or you have to scrub speed before hitting them (in the counter-clockwise direction).
