Trail Overview

Tailpipe is a short but fun single track in Hartman Rocks that leaves from a small parking area/day-use area off Kill Hill Road. It's super tight and twisty as it curves around the mountainside below the staging area, with a great view out towards Gunnison and lots of rural farms. It's a bit ledgy as it snakes through big boulders and rocks, with small ramped rock ledges less than a foot tall. The trail is mostly pea gravel, so it can be slippery.

Difficulty

Tailpipe has a couple of small rock features but remains an easy trail as it's not very steep, with gradual grades, but riders need to be prepared for tight twisty turns and small ledges.
