Trail Overview
This is a short connector trail off of Skyline that can be used to bail out to Rattlesnake Junction Road. Although only a half mile long, it has some significant rock features, so it's not just an easy bailout. It goes over several big rock slab sections with small ledges and through a rock pinch between towering boulders. Later the trail has more embedded rock boulders in the trail, making it a jarring ride, with some rocks that could pinch your tires. By taking the bailout instead of continuing north on Skyline, you avoid one big obstacle on Skyline, but you have to overcome several similar obstacles on this trail instead. It makes a fun alternative route with several options for other single tracks to connect to afterward.
