Trail Overview
Seven Lakes Road branches off from Gold Camp Road and is typically very well-maintained. While more of a road than a trail most of the time, it leads to both Bull Park Rd and Frosty Park Road. From Gold Camp Road to the Colorado Springs Utilities' gate, you'll gain just over 1,300' in just over three miles. The road is "two lane" the whole way, but pay attention as there are some curves with steep drop-offs all the way down to the Middle Beaver Creek. There are many camping areas all along the way, which could serve as a great base camp for exploring the area. This road also provides access to the Pikes Peak South Slope Recreation Area; accessible with a daily permit available on a limited basis. https://coloradosprings.gov/southslope
