Saran Wrap Road (FS 370D) is a scenic loop trail consisting of mostly rock, dry mud and gravel in the Pike National Forest near Colorado Springs, CO. The trail consists of a couple obstacles that require high clearance 4x4 and moderate off-camber sections requiring careful tire placement. There are dry rutted sections including a v-notch that ends at a steep dry mud incline. This trail may be challenging to beginner off-roader and not suitable for stock vehicles. You may find several species of birds, some deer, and tiny Colorado chipmunks along the way. There are no campsites and no available toilets along the way.

Access Description

From Colorado Springs, go West on Lake Ave towards Broadmoor Hotel. Take a left of 2nd St. and right on Pourtales Rd then left onto Mirada Rd which merges onto W Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. At the 4-way stop, continue forward towards Old Stage Road and turn into Gold Camp Road up the mountain and through Pike National Forest for about 13 miles until you reach Gould Creek and the entrance to Eagle Rock Road (FS 370C).
