Trail Overview
This is a fun trail that leads to Swale Lake, which is not on the map. There are several vistas of mountains as well. This loop runs parallel to Park Creek on the north side. The trail features mountain meadows and views of the valley. There are two crossings of Park Creek, one at each end of the trail. There are several water crossings, so please note that in the spring, water can be high. They are not typically deep in the summer, but weather conditions can affect this. The trail can be very rocky in several areas with several large boulders, so make sure your vehicle has the proper clearance before attempting. The rest of the trail is just a dirt road. There are also several felled trees over the trail, at least at the time this trail was submitted. Please respect Forest Service rules and stick to the trail.
