Trail Overview
Driving through the prior burned area from the 2002 Hayman Fire. As a result, the views are expansive, and you're higher than most of the surrounding area. The forest, valley's and mountains surrounding are visible on a clear day. Mostly single-wide road with a few areas to pull off for faster vehicles to pass. No "campsites" on this road, only small pull-off areas scattered along the road. The road becomes much narrower with erosion pockets along the steep side toward the northern end; wider vehicles should be wary. Descends to the north to a few parking lot/unloading areas for SXS, Motorcycles, or ATVs.
