Trail Overview
This is a short connector single track through the Rio Grande National Forest. The south end departs from the La Garita Creek Singletrack, and it climbs up 800 feet elevation through a forest of pines with embedded rock, roots, and old downfall, most of which has been cut. It traverses up the mountain, with a couple of moderate rock ledges and sections full of embedded rocks. These will be a good challenge for most average riders. It's pretty steep the whole climb, and more challenging because of the rocks. The north end gets more faint and overgrown with grass as it connects to the ATV trail.
