Trail Overview

Double G ATV trail starts at the intersection with Snow Ranch C, and winds through the forest on a rocky trail that is more shelfy and narrow than some of the surrounding trails, making it a bit harder. The trail goes along the edge of the hillside, quite narrow in spots. It's full of small loose rock, but also fast smooth sections. It makes a lot of quick curves through the scrub oak and ponderosa pines. There are some small trees over the trail at the head height you might have to duck for and lots of branches extending over the trail that whack your handlebars. The west portion of the trail is less curvy, and it takes you up to Devil Mountain Road. From here you can connect to the north or south end of the Mule Mountain trail to continue your ride. This is a key connector trail between the east and west sides of this trail system. This trail is open 5/15 - 11/30 to motorized use.
