Trail Overview
Dirty Sock is a fun and short trail that has some moderate rock features that would be a good challenge for a beginner rider. From the south end, it starts on Dirty Sock Connector Road, and climbs up the nearby mesas, with some small embedded rocks in the trail. It goes up against some big boulders through a narrow spot, but still wide enough to ride through. The main features of the trail are several big slab layers of rock that might look daunting to a newer rider, but they are ramped with great traction, so you can ride right up them. They aren't really like ledges, but more like ramps. They look steep but really aren't overly difficult. As it continues north, there are chunky small boulders in the trail, and it goes along a cool rock wall. It descends back down for the second half of the trail into flat sagebrush valleys, but it has some tight corners as it meanders through the flat land.

Difficulty
Overall this trail is an intermediate difficulty because it does have several rock obstacles that could be considered a challenge to a beginner rider, but really aren't too difficult as they are ramped with great traction. It has a couple of narrow spots as it rides next to big rocks, and has tight turns through the high desert.
