BLM Route 015

Trail Overview

This trail begins near the Cactus Park Staging area right off Highway 141 near Whitewater. The trail is accessed off BLM Route 013 which is an easy road. The first mile or so of the trail can be a bit hard to follow as it goes through some sand and slick rock sections while remaining pretty easy. About halfway through, there is a stretch of trail with a couple of technical sections with big rocks and ledges that require a little more skill. The second half is a little more narrow and rockier before intersecting with BLM Route 13 again. This route is not challenging but has enough to keep you engaged while offering some cool scenery. It can be tied together with BLM Route 018 and 017 for a fun 50-inch loop.

This is a generally easy trail, but a small handful of technical sections with obstacles up to 12 inches and some steep grades make this a 3/10.
