Trail Overview

Berri View is a half-mile ATV trail that departs from the Berri ATV trail after the pinch point and climbs up a steep and rocky path to a great view on a cliff edge overlooking the Weminuche Wilderness and San Juan Mountains. The trail is constantly rocky. There are big loose rocks, embedded boulders, and big embedded rock layers. Dirt bikes can pick the best line through the rocks, and ATVs can mostly go around all of the biggest rock layers but will have to articulate over some of the rocks. There are long sections of flat embedded slab and steep climbs up that are very rocky. The view at the top is really worth the detour from the Berri ATV trail. It's a really nice overlook on the edge of the mountain.

Difficulty

This is an intermediate trail because there are big embedded rocks that will add a challenge for both dirt bikes and ATVs. There are steep rocky climbs throughout the whole route.
