Experience the beauty and solitude of some of the highest OHV trails in the nation. Spend a few days camping at Baldwin Lakes, known for cutthroat trout. Boulder Mountain is quite narrow and not recommended for ATVs or UTVs. No closures except for snow.

Difficulty

Difficult: Rocky, narrow road suitable for aggressive, high-clearance SUVs with low range and skid plates. Boulder Mountain has two narrow, tippy spots on a shelf road. Oversize vehicles should not attempt. Snow melts late.
