Trail Overview
Back-In is a short and easy trail through Hartman Rocks. It goes through a flat desert sagebrush terrain, with various rock piles dispersed throughout the land. It's more enjoyable when the trail goes right next to the rock piles, although it doesn't cover any ledges or obstacles. Big rock slabs are lining the trail, and one spot has a few more enormous boulders embedded into the trail, but you can ride between them. It's mostly a smooth and fast dirt trail. It parallels along some powerlines. It connects Outback Road to Powerline Road, with several other trails to ride next off of Powerline Road. This trail is closed from March 15 - May 15 for sage grouse conservation.
