Trail Overview
This trail is a challenging off-road adventure known for its steep inclines, deep ruts, and rugged terrain. The path climbs sharply from the base, demanding both driver skill and a well-equipped 4x4 vehicle. Traction becomes a significant concern, especially after rain or snow, when the trail becomes slick, muddy, and nearly impassable. The climb features sections of exposed rock and loose gravel. Large ruts, caused by water runoff, crisscross the trail, requiring precise wheel placement to avoid bottoming out. Drivers should be prepared for off-camber angles that test vehicle stability. During dry weather, experienced drivers with lockers, recovery gear, and high ground clearance can complete the trail with careful line selection. However, in the winter, snow and ice make this trail extremely hazardous, as the incline becomes too slick for most vehicles to maintain traction. Recovery operations in winter conditions are difficult and risky.
