Houtts - FS 10N44

Trail Overview

Short connector trail between the Mormon Emigrant Trail and the Alder Creek area trails. Utilizing Houtts as part of the route, one can traverse between the Mormon Emigrant Trail and Highway 50. The entrance to the trail comes up quickly, and there's a small area to air down immediately to the right. The trail immediately dips in elevation until it bottoms out in "Morrison," a cattle camp, when it reaches Alder Creek.

Difficulty

While rain/snow can make this difficult to pass, the road is fairly hard-packed and regularly traveled - so maintained. There are some tight squeezes near tree-fall, but no real obstacles.
