Trail Overview
This trail starts at Dos Cabeza BLM 150 and is a windy, sandy road cutting through a desert full of teddy bear cacti, ocotillo, and various desert bushes, creating a densely vegetated environment. The area is full of mega power windmills where massive turbines dominate the landscape. You'll encounter a little soft sand, some ruts, and off-camber sections all under 12 inches scattered throughout. The Coyote Mountains and the Painted Gorge area serve as the backdrop of your trail, providing dramatic views. The mountains of Mexico, as well as Table Mountain and mountains in Anza Borrego State Park, also surround this area, creating 360-degree mountain scenery. The trail ends at Highway 2.

Difficulty
This is an easy trail with manageable obstacles. The little soft sand requires some momentum, but isn't deep. The ruts and off-camber sections all under 12 inches are minor challenges that don't require advanced skills. The windy nature of the road cutting through vegetation means staying alert for the path ahead. Airing down is recommended for the sandy sections and improved comfort.
