Trail Overview

This trail has great views throughout with a spectacular view of Lake Berryessa at its highest elevation point. Expect to drive dirt, gravel and mud along the out and back trail. There are also many dispersed camping sites along the way. After 11.4 miles the trail does dead end on a private property gate.

Difficulty

An overall easy trail that can become moderate depending on weather conditions. Lots of potential for deep mud after wet weather.

History

This trail was temporarily closed for the past few years for fire rehabilitation but the gate is once again open.

half of this trail is blocked by a locked gate, it said something about unstable trees due to fire. also made it all the way to the gate on my sxs, not sure why it doesn't say ohv accessible, maybe further down it reconnects to a road?

Mud crossing about halfway through the trail. Not sure how deep the middle is but taking a side line was fine.
