Trail Overview
This trail starts out as a pretty easy dirt road and makes for a nice cruise through the forest. It only gets more challenging toward the end when you reach the final climb. That section has some bigger rocks, a few ledges, and some tighter, winding spots where you'll need to pick your line a bit more carefully. One of the coolest parts of the drive is seeing the transition from the areas burned in the 2021 Caldor Fire to sections of forest that were left untouched. It's a pretty noticeable shift and gives you a sense of what the area went through. You'll get great views of the surrounding mountains along the way. A 4WD vehicle with decent clearance should handle it just fine, especially in dry conditions

Difficulty
The majority of the trail is very easy. Towards the end, when nearing the lookout tower, you'll reach a fairly steep climb with a number of large rocks and obstacles.
