Cleghorn Technical Access Road

Trail Overview

This trail is full of technical surprises that keep you on your toes. It's not very well maintained, so some 4x4s will struggle, and dual sport or dirt bikes are definitely the safer bet. You'll hit 2 or 3 steep uphill climbs that demand careful throttle control, and the downhill sections are washed out and technical, with deep ruts and off-camber spots. Loose rocks and uneven terrain make traction tricky in places, especially after rain. The views along the way are solid and give a nice payoff for the effort. That said, this area has a sketchy reputation; garbage dumping and illicit activities are not uncommon, so stay alert. It's rough, challenging, and not for beginners, but it makes for a memorable ride if you're prepared.
