F48 Higher Ground

Trail Overview

F48 Higher Ground provides a trail for those completing either F46 Outlaw or F47 Shaffner's Hollow that returns down the mountain back to F17 Lash's Loop. It is a rocky wooded trail with a few washouts and rocks to watch out for. The park rating for this trail is 3 diamonds. A Park Day-Use Trail Pass is required to access this system of trails. Cell service is spotty in places, and trail conditions can change quickly, especially during rainy or winter seasons.
