Trail Overview

This is an easy gravel road that has many points of interest. There are scenic views of the mountains and a few water crossings to get to connecting roads. If coming from Highway 7, you will reach the Koen Interpretive Trail first. Then, you will come across an area on the right to pull over. Liles Falls is an easy .25-mile roundtrip hike to a 41-foot-tall cascading waterfall. The next area of interest is the Erbie Campground on the Buffalo River. This has camping and a day-use area with bathrooms available. The Parker-Hickman Farmstead is a little further down and an area to stop and explore. There will be a low-water bridge to cross the Buffalo River and another water crossing at Cove Creek before coming to County Road 57 (or what is labeled as Old River Road). Both of these crossings are rocky bottoms.
