Trail Overview
This 1.3-mile-long singletrack offers a rugged and technical ride through a dense forest of red oaks and hickories. Although marked at both entrances and throughout the route with diamonds on the trees, the trail is somewhat faint and overgrown at times, making it harder to navigate. The narrow path weaves tightly between vegetation. Riders will navigate small and large downed logs, frequent sharp corners, and a variety of natural obstacles--including roots and rocks forming small shelves, and a small creek crossing with scattered boulders. The middle of the trail has some steeper hills both up and down, and steep side-hilling that will require some expertise. Riders can expect tough climbs, deep ruts, and rock ledges up to two feet high. Scenic highlights include a trickling creek running parallel to the trail and a striking giant boulder next to the trail. This is a demanding but rewarding route that connects to the longer Brock 23 singletrack.
