Trail Overview

This trail has rocks, muddy spots, a creek crossing, and a handful of small camping areas. There's a fun spot with an 18-inch rock ledge. A workaround exists for that spot and others if needed. The trail starts off pretty easy (if coming from the south) and then is mostly rocky, making progress slow. There are some low-lying areas with muddy bottoms; check their depth if there has been a lot of rain. The creek crossing has an easy, rocky bottom. Be sure to check out the cave nearby. There's a spot to stop next to the creek. Cell service is always spotty in the forest!

Difficulty

While this uneven trail is rated as "easy," it does feature one 18-inch rock obstacle. A workaround is available if you prefer to skip it. There are also several smaller obstacles under 12 inches, which have workarounds. You should expect some rutted, muddy sections and a shallow water crossing with a rocky bottom. The trail is one vehicle wide, though there are spots to pass.
