Trail Overview

Ss1006 begins at either Ss1004 or Ss1009. This trail is a sandy gravel trail that starts narrow and runs through overgrown creosote. You'll notice nearby playground areas where offroad vehicles tackle short, steep desert sand hill climbs. Recommend High-clearance; 2WD and 4WD vehicles are capable. After the playground, the trail tightens for a moment and pinstripes most likely. Pass the power station and enjoy open views of Mount Graham and the surrounding mountains. Trail ends at Ss1009 or Ss1004, depending on the direction you are running.
