Trail Overview
Wayside Road is a wide gravel road near Alamo Lake in La Paz County, Arizona. This road has no obstacles and appears to be maintained, at least semi-regularly. The road cuts through, from pavement to access a northern area and at the main trail that accesses Alamo Lake, aptly named "Old Alamo Road". The road is speckled with curves that wind gently through the desert. Toward the north end, you'll find a rough dirt runway and an RV park, presumably frequented by snowbirds and fishermen. There is plenty of room along this road to pass, turn around, and/or stop and enjoy the view.
