Trail Overview
RV Oasis Bypass East serves as a rugged bypass linking Highway 95 to the HN127 and Yellowstone trail systems. While it's a practical route for accessing deeper trail networks, don't let the "connector" label fool you; this short trail packs a punch. The route is heavily rutted and weaves in and out of several washes, making for a constantly changing surface. Steep grades and off-camber sections test traction and driver skill, especially after rain or during dry, loose conditions. A new RV development cuts off part of the original path, so the current alignment skirts its edge. Though not long, this connector requires solid driving awareness and proper equipment to navigate safely.

Difficulty
This trail is generally manageable for most high-clearance vehicles, but certain sections present moderate challenges. The terrain includes hard-packed sand and gravel, with deeper sand and looser gravel inside the wash. A noticeable drop into the wash may require careful tire placement and lower speeds--drivers should use caution in this area. Washboarding is present along parts of the route, which may reduce comfort and traction. 4WD is recommended, especially during or after wet weather or when sand conditions become soft. Less experienced drivers should approach the wash and hill sections with extra caution.
