Trail Overview
Parker Road is a scenic single-track trail that connects to Montezuma Pass, which then links up with the Patagonia Loop. As it winds through the landscape, the trail passes by several ranches and navigates a series of washes, featuring gentle ascents and descents along the way. In some areas, the terrain becomes rough with rocky sections and corrugations, particularly within the washes. During the rainy season, flooding can pose a challenge, making portions of the trail impassable at times. Travelers should be mindful of the surrounding farmland and respect private property as they explore this picturesque route. The trail lacks amenities such as dispersed camping and trash disposal, and there is limited cell service. There is no potable water supply, but there may be water in the wash before Po Ranch.
