Hieroglyphic Mountain Loop

This route is different than the route on trails Offroad. On that app it cuts across and bypasses the upper part of the route on this app. Trail was good and rough in some places. There was some good climbs and descents with some of them I had to use 4lo. How to get out a few times to pick a good line. Those were on some of the climbs and descents. Trails Offroad takes you an easier way in my Opinion but, I'm glad I did this route. A stock wrangler with 33s did it without any issue. It was a fun trail and will build your confidence depending on your skill level. It did for me. I think this trail is good 5.. Driver in the wrangler thought it was easy for him. He had more experience then me

Very fun trail in great shape. Some really steep climbs and descents which added a little bit of pucker but lockers and 4lo made easy work out of them. Did clockwise and waterfall on first third was fun. Had to let both drivers do it. There is an optional bypass. Lots of pin striping. Done in Wrangler JK, 3.5 lift on 37s aired down to 15psi. AJ from Buckin’ Life Offroad on YT has a nice video of the trail.

Nice 2 hour ride with some stops. Had to use 4x4 for some areas but really it’s just 5 out of 10 for rating. Great trail, nice views and lots of fun areas throughout the trail

It has been mentioned a few times that there are parts of the trail that can be a little more technical than others. The best entrance is off Carefree Hwy. Take thw adjoining trail to the Loop. If you are taking the trail clockwise, which I do recommend as well, the east section that turns North has some serious climbs and you will see some great pitch and roll. there are LOTS of ups and downs. If you don't like to "rock climb" avoid this section. I had a 1st timer with me and he puckered more than a few times. This section can be challenging for stock vehicle. I went out in my Rivian R1T and had 0 issues. Be safe and pack it out!
