This trail leads you to the ruins of an old property, where you'll find a spacious turnaround area, perfect for accommodating 8-9 rigs comfortably. As you navigate this rugged trail, you'll come across fascinating remnants of history, including an old stone wall, the tower of a forgotten windmill, and a water tank that may be brimming during your visit. The path is notably rough, featuring a few steep climbs and narrow sections that require careful driving, especially as you encounter off-camber areas. Be vigilant for boulders littered along the trail, as some might pose a risk to your vehicle's differential if struck. The trail culminates in a stunning saguaro forest that immerses you in the dense beauty of the landscape, bringing you right into the foothills of Black Mountain. This scenic destination is a rewarding endpoint for the journey, surrounded by towering saguaros that create a breathtaking environment. Important Note: While you may find occasional bars of Verizon LTE throughout the trail, service can be sparse, particularly at the end, making it crucial to download your offline maps before heading out.
