Trail Overview
This trail starts by dropping down an embankment through the forest before leveling out and winding its way toward the edge of the Mogollon Rim. It then begins climbing again, with the road cut into the side of the hillside as it works back up in elevation. There are a few dispersed camp spots along the way, and while you'll encounter some dips and very minor washouts, the trail remains passable for most high clearance vehicles. Around a mile in, the views really open up with stunning overlooks along the edge of the Mogollon Rim, and several campsites take full advantage of the scenery. The road ends at a large camp spot with a solid fire pit and incredible views out over the rim.

Difficulty
This trail is rated 2/10 due to the mostly smooth terrain and minimal obstacles. Aside from a few small dips and minor washouts, it is suitable for most high clearance vehicles in dry conditions, with the main appeal being the camping and scenic drive rather than technical difficulty.
