Trail Overview
A section of the Atkins Well/FR 731 Road, this trail terminates on its eastern end at an old homestead featuring several buildings, a windmill, and a large corral. Following the Leave No Trace principles, the trail has been reclaimed by nature and the natural long-grass pastures of the Prescott National Forest. This trail is dirt and wide with no obstacles whatsoever, so you'll find it a nice easy drive through the juniper trees. Enjoy the beautiful surrounding foothills of the forest and the sweeping views of Chino Valley off to the east.
