Trail Overview
This trail sits at the base of the foothills of the Trigo Mountains and features packed gravel with many small rocks throughout. The surface is one to two vehicles wide and relatively flat and smooth, making for easy navigation. The route follows an old rock wash, which can make the trail hard to follow at times, as the path isn't always clearly defined. Despite the occasional navigation challenge, the area offers a lot of great flat spots perfect for open dispersed camping. The proximity to the Trigo Mountains provides a scenic backdrop, while the flat terrain makes for comfortable camping setups.
